Wolf Alice guitarist Joff Oddie has introduced that he can be lacking the band’s upcoming North American tour, as a result of impending delivery of his first baby.
The Mercury Prize-winning act have quite a few dates lined up for the remainder of the 12 months, having not too long ago made their comeback with the epic single ‘Bloom Child Bloom’ and fourth album, ‘The Clearing’. The North American tour begins on the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta on September 10, earlier than enjoying 10 extra dates throughout the US and Canada in the course of September.
The rock group will then journey throughout mainland Europe in November, earlier than enjoying seven dates throughout the UK and Eire, beginning November 28 on the AO Enviornment in Manchester and ending on December 10 in Dublin’s 3Arena.

This afternoon (September 8), Oddie posted on the band’s official Fb web page: “Hey Joff right here. Simply wished to allow you to all know I received’t be becoming a member of the fellows on our North American tour as I’m awaiting the delivery of my first child. I’m unhappy I received’t be with you however I’ll be leaving you within the succesful palms of John Victor who’s one among my fav all time guitarists and a stunning man besides.”
Victor is a member of indie rock outfit Gengahr, whose final launch was the album ‘Purple Solar Titans’ in 2023, which was accompanied by a 14-date UK and European tour.
