UK Artist Ben Laxton Shares an Electronica/Jazz/Downtempo Fusion “Sparkles” Along with Hemai & NSHKO

It is honey for my soul after I cannot put a style tag to a tune.

The brand new single of Ben Laxton on Stereofox Data will blow you away with its fusion of downtempo, electronica, jazz & soul. It is along with London’s famed jazz composer Hemai (labored with Quinn Oulton, Oscar Jerome) & French guitarist NSHKO.

“With the three of us being producers and instrumentalists all the things occurred so rapidly. We all know very clearly what our robust factors as producers are so Hemai set about processing drums, NSHKO was on guitars, I used to be on the Rhodes and vocals and all of us created the fx and textures that put the monitor into the universe we have been searching for,” Ben explains.

The tune options melancholic vocals, drums switching between UKG & home, and trippy keys & guitars. It explores the theme of habit as a way to run away from life’s issues. Laxton elaborates:

We spent some time chatting throughout our sound exploration and stumbled upon a story for the monitor and the story turned form of darkish. It follows somebody who’s struggling to cope with issues of their life. Somebody who hides behind addictions in an try to flee from their day by day life. That is sadly all too frequent actuality and one thing every of us has seen occur to folks we knew.

Make certain to stream/purchase it right here.

The tune comes with a head-spinning music video, too.
