The Jimi Hendrix Expertise’s new Daring As Love boxset to incorporate 28 unreleased tracks

On November 7, Expertise Hendrix/Legacy Recordings will launch a 5-LP/4-CD + Blu-ray boxset containing The Jimi Hendrix Expertise’s landmark 1967 album Axis: Daring As Love in stereo, mono and Atmos codecs, together with 40 bonus studio and stay tracks, 28 of that are beforehand unreleased.

Produced by Janie Hendrix, unique Expertise recording engineer Eddie Kramer, and John McDermott, Daring As Love contains stereo and mono mixes of Axis: Daring As Love, remastered from the unique mixes created by Hendrix, Chas Chandler and Eddie Kramer. Kramer and engineer Chandler Harrod have additionally created a Dolby Atmos mixture of the album.

The trove of beforehand unreleased tracks contains alternate takes recorded at London’s Olympic and Regent Studios, in addition to performances from High Of The Pops and Dee Time, Dutch TV programme Hoepla, and eight songs from a September 1967 live performance in Stockholm.
