Australian duo Teenage Joans have launched their relentlessly catchy new single ‘Candy And Gradual’.
The monitor is co-written and co-produced by former With Confidence frontman Jayden Seeley. Vocalist and guitarist Cahli Blakers says “We like to check with Candy And Gradual as our “Disney Channel” tune, because it emanates that early 2000s pop-punk sound. We introduced this tremendous catchy refrain we had written to Jayden Seely, who co-wrote the tune with us. It was our first session with him and the power within the room was nice, all of us knew we have been writing such a enjoyable tune. Candy And Gradual is about selecting an individual time and again regardless of the time, place, or circumstances. The lyrics within the writing session got here tremendous naturally, and we love how effortlessly they match the songs tacky power.”

Teenage Joans has spent the previous few years on tour round Australia and the US with the likes of Foo Fighters, Sum 41, Sleeping With Sirens, Noahfinnce, Amy Shark, Holding Absence and Pale Waves. Their debut album, ‘The Rot That Grows Inside My Chest’, arrived in 2023.
