Eire’s Simply Mustard have introduced a brand new album, WE WERE JUST HERE, and shared its title observe, by way of a music video. WE WERE JUST HERE is due out October 24 by way of Partisan. Beneath, take a look at the video, adopted by the album particulars and the band’s upcoming tour dates.
The album contains “POLLYANNA,” a brand new single the band shared in June that was one in all our Songs of the Week.
Simply Mustard’s line up is Katie Ball, David Noonan, Mete Kalyoncuoğlu, Rob Clarke, and Shane Maguire. WE WERE JUST HERE is the band’s third album, the follow-up to 2022’s Coronary heart Beneath and 2018’s Wednesday.
The band recorded the album at Black Mountain studio, which is simply exterior of their hometown. Noonan and the band produced the album, which was blended by David Wrench (Frank Ocean, FKA twigs). A press launch compares the brand new album to Nirvana and My Bloody Valentine.
“The vocal construction was crucial factor,” Noonan says.
Ball provides: “I used to be attempting to write down extra optimistically, and feeling like a fraud generally. I used to be attempting to place myself in locations of bodily pleasure to attempt to get that euphoric feeling.”
