Alex Van Halen’s relationship together with his former Van Halen bandmate Sammy Hagar has been rocky for years – one thing that was made abundantly clear when Alex refused to say Hagar in his just lately launched memoir “Brothers.”

He’s not a guitar participant. He isn’t actually a band chief. And he looks as if he doesn’t wish to play drums or can’t play drums anymore, and he can’t go write a brand new file.
“Alex wasn’t the songwriter within the band. He was the drummer. Eddie and I wrote the songs. Dave [Lee Roth] and Eddie wrote the songs, and so we are able to exit and do them. And I feel that basically bothers him that Mike and I are nonetheless on the market doing it. I’d really feel unhealthy. If I put myself in his sneakers, I’d really feel horrible if I couldn’t do it anymore. However I’m the happiest man out of all of them. That pisses folks off in itself. Being too blissful, folks don’t like that.”
