It has been virtually three years since Halestorm launched their 2022 report, Again From The Lifeless. So, each avid music fan is aware of – music is on the horizon. And, frontwoman Lzzy Hale confirms that the band was “getting mixes again,” when speaking on Cutter’s Rockcast.
Working with Grammy-awarded producer Dave Cobb, identified for his work with Greta Van Fleet, Rival Sons, and Slash, Halestorm defined that they felt that “his ADHD blended very effectively with [the band’s] ADHD.” A a lot much less organised, however nonetheless very cathartic course of, Hale feels as if there are “a variety of personalities that [she’s] all the time needed to form of placed on a report, however [she] by no means actually had the liberty or time to…”
Tapping into that concept, Hale describes that there are “a few of the heaviest songs [they’ve] ever written on there,” alongside “some actually stunning mid-tempos.” Most of all, it feels fully genuine, “There’s nothing on this album that anyone compelled [them] to do. There’s nothing on this album that is not a part of [their] personalities.”
“The music was telling [them] what to do and never [them] making an attempt to love shoehorn something in,” Hale explains.
For “the primary time in 20 years,” “it’s the most Halestorm report [they’ve] ever finished,” the Halestorm frontwoman mentioned on the podcast.
