Skeoch talked in regards to the possiblity for a brand new band in a latest interview with Talkin’ Bout Rock:
“We’re all doing our personal factor, and I don’t know after we can ever get collectively, all of us. Though, when [Brian] requested me about that, I did suppose it will be cool — I wish to play with that man [Chris Holmes]. I feel me and him would have a cranky guitar factor happening, most likely. He’s type of cranky like me. Nevertheless it’s simply if we will all get our schedules collectively, like if we’re not doing nothing. However we’re all busy. It’s onerous.”
Skeoch reconnected with Wheat again in 2022. Wheat was already planning on working with Holmes on one thing anyway, so it appeared to be some form of kismet match. Talking with Ernest Skinner from Canada-based Border Metropolis Rock Speak a couple of months in the past, Wheat gave extra background as to how the thought for the brand new band happened within the first place:
