Montreal/Stockholm progressive metalers Voidchaser, are dropping their newest EP, Belief, on March 7, and so they’re sharing it with us first. The document is their follow-up to the 2024 launch Solace and comes forward of an in depth tour that will probably be introduced quickly.
“Belief picks up immediately after the occasions of Solace,” says vocalist and rhythm guitarist Chad Bernatchez. “Our protagonist is drifting throughout the huge vacancy of area, because the reserve oxygen tanks from the go well with hold him alive and scenes from his life move them by. The primary tune, ‘Time,’ depicts our protagonist having to say goodbye to somebody who he was very near. The second tune, ‘Dogma,’ depicts our protagonist having to make an unimaginable determination, leading to abandoning another person he was very near. Lastly, the title monitor depicts our protagonist unapologetically committing his total life to somebody solely to have his belief damaged and their sense of self be misplaced within the course of.
“We collaborated with musicians from all world wide on this EP, and it’s very cool to have had the chance to try this. We’ve got loads of love for the musicians that accepted to be on it and really feel extremely honored that we made one thing they wished to be part of.
“This EP may be very particular to us as a result of it marks the tip of a chapter for Voidchaser. We’re very pleased with how far we have now come for the reason that band has began, and there’s nothing we’d have accomplished in a different way. The whole lot has led to the place we’re right this moment, and we have now discovered so much from the previous two years.
