David Lee Roth: Ozzy Osbourne Is Not In Heaven


David Lee Roth paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne throughout his July twenty second live performance in California, reminiscing about their friendship from Van Halen’s 1978 UK tour supporting Black Sabbath.

Reflecting on Ozzy’s passing, Roth shared a humorous story about asking a Buddhist monk if there’s laughter in heaven, concluding with a heartfelt message to Ozzy, saying they’ll share a drink collectively in hell. Roth honored Ozzy by putting his iconic double peace signal pose earlier than performing “Atomic Punk.”

“I didn’t even know there have been 22 cities in the UK,” he informed the group, earlier than including: “Ozzy Osbourne and I turned very, superb buddies on that tour. And the unhappy information is that he has departed.”
